What is mod?

 Sound Filters Mod adds 3 things right now: reverb in caves, muted sounds when underwater/in lava, and muted sounds when the sound source is behind a wall.


How to install?

  1. Make sure you have installed Minecraft Forge
  2. Download Sound Filters Mod for your version of the game.
  3. Locate the minecraft application folder.
    • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
    • On MacOS open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
    • Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
  4. Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
  5. Enjoy.
