Soartex is a Minecraft texture pack with a smooth and contemporary artistic style in 64 × 64 resolution. The textures, originally created by Soar49, have been developed and updated by fans over the past three years. These textures are carefully designed to be detailed, but not photo-realistic; organic, but not in the cartoon style. There are two official suites from Soartex: Fanver and Invictus.
Fanver is kept up to date by the Soartex community. Fans are encouraged to contribute new textures through the official forum. These contributions are reviewed by the designers, who make recommendations and ultimately determine what content will be used for future updates. Fanver is known for his fidelity to the original work of Soar49, with the fewest modifications possible.
Soartex Invictus
Invictus is a second expansion developed by Shoeboxam with the help of Goldbattle. The focus is on reducing patterns and aliasing for larger builds, optimizing mipmapping, presaturation of foliage color depth, built-in shaders and block models and a subtle difference by compared to the original illustrations by Soar49 for a stylistic renaissance. Development can be viewed on the Github Invictus , but public contributions are not accepted.
Soartex Fanver Resource Pack Installation Guides:
1. Download Resource Pack in ZIP file format and do not Unzip it
2. Download and Install Optifine or MC Patcher for better resource pack performance.
Optifine is preferred as it includes all of the features of MCPatcher and it increases game speeds and graphics settings
However, MC Patcher is needed for your hurry.
3. Go to minecraft/resourcepacks where minecraft stores all resource packs. This step depends on your operating system:
a. Windows: %AppData%.minecraftresourcepacks
b. Linux: ~/.minecraft/resourcepacks (This folder may be hidden in the Home Folder)
c. Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks (This folder may be hidden)
4. Put the resource pack (ZIP file) in the opened folder
5. The resource pack is applied after a few seconds.
6. Enjoy your new world with this resource pack
